IBMS Advanced Specialist Diploma Prize and the Diploma of Expert Practice Prize
The IBMS Advanced Specialist Diploma Prize and the Diploma of Expert Practice Prize are both awarded annually to the candidates who obtain the highest marks in their examinations.
IBMS Company Members Prize
Established in 2006, the IBMS Company Members Prize is awarded annually to the IBMS members who achieve the highest mark in each specialist subject of the Higher Specialist Diploma examination.
R J Lavington Prize
Established in 1977 in memory of the General Secretary of the IBMS from 1948 to 1970, the R J Lavington Prize is awarded annually to the IBMS member who achieves the highest mark in the Higher Specialist Diploma examinations across all disciplines.
Prizes eligibility
To be eligible for any of the prizes, it must be your first attempt at the examinations.
The IBMS Advanced Specialist Diploma Prize, the Diploma of Expert Practice Prize and the Company Members Prize each consists of a cheque for £250 and a certificate.
The R J Lavington Prize consists of a cheque for £500, a medal and certificate.
All prizes are presented at the IBMS Annual General Meeting (AGM) and prize winners are notified when the results are released in November.
