Since 2017, biomedical science staff across the world have got involved in Biomedical Science Day, creating displays in hospital foyers, visiting schools and opening the doors to their laboratories to show people their work.
As well as informing the public about biomedical science, we ask the profession in the UK to contact their politicians to take part and celebrate. Our combined social media efforts ensure that our messages reach millions of people including patients and the public, senior government officials, prominent healthcare organisations and the media.
