IBMS Membership Survey - have your say

The IBMS would like to hear from members. Help us gain a better understanding of your views on your membership and the profession.

Dear members

It's important to me that the IBMS is directed by its members, that's why we are sending you an opportunity to participate in the IBMS 2022 membership survey. Your feedback is important and will help us shape how we support and progress your career and promote the profession.

The purpose of this survey is to provide you with the opportunity to share feedback on your experience as a member of the IBMS.

How you can take part in the survey

All IBMS members will have been sent an email with a link to the survey on Tuesday 20th September. Please check your junk and other folders if not received in your inbox.

You can also email Lynda Rigby, Executive Head of Marketing and Membership, LyndaRigby@ibms.org (please include your membership number).

Why it is important to take part in this survey

The IBMS are interested in your views and opinions about your membership, including how you value different services and benefits the IBMS offers and where there is scope for improvement. This will help the IBMS to better support its members and to inform the future development of its strategy to ensure that it remains as relevant as possible for the profession.

This survey will take around 10 – 15 minutes to complete.

As you move through the survey your responses will be saved, so you may continue where you left off at any time. All responses are anonymous, and your confidentiality is ensured.

Research by Design, an independent market research company, are conducting the survey on behalf of the IBMS. Analysis and reporting of the aggregated findings will be managed entirely by Research by Design. The IBMS will not be able to see who has participated in the research or who has chosen not to.

Thank you in advance for taking part. Your views will help shape the make-up of the IBMS's future membership offer, and your participation is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards,

Debra Padgett CSci FIBMS
IBMS President
